      In this article you'll find some basic info about the league - more info will be posted around the 20th of August.

      We'll conduct the draft(s) as close to the NFL season as possible, but the date has not been set yet. Feel free to post comments/opinions on this and other issues on our League message board!

      Nice one Spain - starting a Running Back (Ronnie Brown - Miami) who was placed on IR a few days ago.

      I'm trying my hardest to chase the folks above me down and scrape into the play-offs but when some owners don't care or hand easy victories away to the teams above me it really kills me and any slim chance I may have been clinging to! Yell

      Hey Commish,

      Here's the exact prob I was fearfull of - I was at work late tonight and with the Thursday night games despite being tired come on line now to set my team ready for Thursday night game incase that's when line-ups lock. I discovered all but one of my WR's are on a Bye this week - my bad planing but went to Add/Drop to make adjustments and it says it don't open to 9am - guessing that's US ET not my 9am... anyway if so I'll be at work - now if I have to work late tomorrow I won't get home before game start so in effect I have a player starting on a Bye as waviers is finished so can't use that to pick up anyone but Free Agency is not open yet.

      So I am here and seems really bad (not to mention frustrating) I can't correct my team to give me a full and valid starting 13... I will try my best but if I get caught using a managers computer for no good work reason and especially for using internet I could be in trouble - so really not advisable but so like this game am half contemplating sneaking on while one I know goes for a coffee break but I should not have to be this James Bondie if the game would let me do what I need to do when I want to do it - I am here, game is under way, waivers are finished - why honestly as I said previously is this game created with a 6 hour (or what ever amount of time it is) closed gap between waivers being processed and the opening of free agency - not your fault but in a paid league why they don't allow you to go straight from waivers to open Free Agency if you want this (I do) is beyond me? :-(

      Oh and you say you have not played many other games including the NFL.com / CBSsportsline one - well if you have time why not try a free league there to see how it works. :-)

      Any way here's hoping I can finish work intime to get home before line-ups lock and sort something out. :-)

      Really feels good to knock off the division leader - really needed that for a pick me up, not sure if there's enough weeke left for me to make a run and clinch a play off berth but sure as hell felt nice to beat Iceland.

      Attention Leagues using the Waiver Wire: We will process waivers all week, even after the scheduled start of the Thursday night game if your league has those waivers scheduled. For Thursday, Friday and Saturday waivers please be aware of the following:

      • All-American, All-Pro, All-Star, and High Stakes money leagues are not affected. Waivers will remain on Tuesday and Wednesday.
      • Your team's Thursday starters cannot be dropped via the waiver wire after scheduled kickoff of the Thursday game.
      • If your league does not allow players to be picked up after scheduled kickoff of their game, the waiver wire will honor that rule for Thursday players.
      • Players acquired via waivers are never automatically promoted to starters. Thursday players acquired before or after scheduled kickoff will not be automatically started. Start/bench is strictly an owner decision.
      • Waivers are usually processed within an hour after the waiver deadline. However, our official policy is that waivers will be processed within 6 hours after the deadline.
      • Your league commissioner may change your waiver deadlines and days at anytime. Please contact your commissioner with any questions.

      We STRONGLY recommend against setting your league's waiver deadline close to the scheduled 8:20pm ET kickoff of the Thursday night game as it leaves team owners very little if any time to make start/bench decisions.
