Welcome to the 2009 season of the International
Fantasy League!
In this article you'll find some basic info about
the league - more info will be posted around the
20th of August.
We'll conduct the draft(s) as close to the NFL
season as possible, but the date has not been set
yet. Feel free to post comments/opinions on this
and other issues on our League message board!
Just like last year we will divide the teams in
four conferences with 12 teams in each. These
conferences have separate drafts. The teams will
be put in conferences based on location. The
conference setup you see on the webpage right now
is last year's setup. This will be changed in late
August to reflect this year's participants.
Despite the fact that we use RTSports' Platinum
service, participation is free just like in 2008.
I will appreciate donations, but this is not
required. Consider the league a "shareware"-kind-
of-thing ;-)

contact me at silencer@tnfj.com and we'll get into
the details of how to do it.
Feel free to help recruit new owners to the
league! Please remember that new owners must
represent states/countries that they have a strong
tie to. Potential new owners should send an e-mail
to silencer@tnfj.com giving their contact info,
which country/state/province they want to
represent, and some info on their connection to
said country/state/province.
I will not have the same opportunity to recruit as
in 2008, so any help will be greatly appreciated!
I (the Commish) will be in Canada from the 31st of
July until the 14th of August, and according to my
sources internet access is very limited where I'm
going. I'll answer e-mail/questions as soon as I
can, but don't expect a reply until after the 15th
of August! |
